My friend was 4 times the legal alcohol limit when she was checked at the hospital following being taken there in an ambulance; however she was never checked by a police officer & issued a DUI. She was only issued a ticket for rear ending another vehicle... It goes without saying I am furious with her. I don't believe we will be in too much contact from this point forward unless everything works out good with this situation. Do I have much to worry about the hospital checking her BAC? I have heard that the only way the insurance company will find out all that is if it's in the police report. How will things be handled? I will sue my friend as a last resort; however she has NOTHING literally. I live in Florida.

Just wanted to come here to ask a question. My car is an '03 model and was caught in a hail storm a few weeks ago. BUT, i asked her if she knew about how much I'd be expecting and she said that it depends on if the costs exceed the deductible? That's where I'm having problems. There is no lien holder on the car. And from what I've read on the internet, these repairs could cost over 1k. If that's the case, would they just say that we need to pay the deductible and they'd fix it? I just got a letter in the mail yesterday saying that I owe 2500 to some person. Is it possible that he was given the wrong insurance as well, thus me getting charged for this?

I'm about to be 19. Where should I look for health insurance?

in California I work 2 part time jobs, neither give health insurance and my parents don't get health insurance from their jobs. It's currently Summer break but I will be going to school in the Fall. I asked for help from my bank (Wells Fargo) but my mom said I could find much better prices. Any advice would be appreciated, I need it by tomorrow.
