I got into a fender bender, will my insurance be contacted?

Long story short, the light turned red, the car infront of me short-stopped, I did as well with about 6-8 inches to spare with the car in front, and i got rear-ended in the back causing my momentum to hit the car on the front. the car in front of me and behind me had no damage, while my front bumper has scuffs and the license plate is hanging off. the lady in front was in such a rush, she just left since she said her car was fine and left before i could get a name or her license plate, and the lady behind me claims she never even hit me and was planning to leave, until i forced her to stay by threatening that i'd call the police. She refused to exchange information with me. the police came, and wrote a report, but he was giving me a lot of attitude saying that her car suffered no damage, though my rear license plate was bent. he claimed, whether or not she hit you before or after you hit the front car, i find it hard to believe that her hitting you caused that much damage to your front bumper . I got a generic report on a piece of paper and he told me to pick up the report tomorrow. I'm pretty sure she's not going to file a claim, most likely because she can't speak english. i honestly don't want to deal with filing a report and i'm planning on just buying a new front bumper and installing it myself, but my question is, is my insurance company going to be contacted and will my rates rise? (UK!) I'm really interested in motorbikes, and in 18 months - the painful wait - I am looking at buying my first bike, a Honda CBR 125r. Due to the low horse power of the bike, I can ride it with just a CBT after my 17th birthday if I'm not mistaken, which will reduce my costs as I won't need to take lessons and a test. With leathers, helmet, boots, gloves, CBT, as well as the bike, I worked out I would need to save at least 2200... However, I have no idea what insurance would be. A little over a year ago, I was in a car wreck and due to financial responsibility laws I had to pay for the accident. (I had no insurance, of course, I've learned this lesson) Recently they've filed suit against me for more money that they didn't receive from the insurance company. It's also been over a year as of a couple days ago and due to Tennessee's Statute of Limitations they can't claim any more money. I call the opposing attorney myself and of course they say they can't discuss the case with me, even though I'm just asking if the case still actually exists. They wont' give me a court date either so naturally, I'm a bit suspicious. Should I be ready to put this behind me, or do law offices do this sort of thing all the time? Why is my insurance so cheap?

I am a 19 year old male, and I own a 2011 Nissan Altima SL. I live in Baltimore City (which has the highest rates in the state) and have a speeding ticket and a not at fault accident. I carry 100/300/100 coverage with matching 250 deductibles. I also have vanishing deductible, accident, and minor violation forgiveness. I pay 172.00 per month. I thought I could save a few bucks and switch companies, however, I quoted literally every company available in MD and the lowest I found was 580 a month for the same coverages. Thats a HUGEEE difference! I am starting to wonder if something is wrong with my policy. I have had it about a year with no issues, and my not at fault claim went through smoothly. I am the sole policy holder, and no, my family is not with Nationwide either... What could cause such a difference? Any ideas?

Car insurance cost in UK... seems too expensive?

I was planning to buy a car in UK. Initially I was planning to buy a high end car but a friend of mine suggested to get a small engine car to get cheap insurance. I am new to UK - have been driving cars in India for over 10 years but the insurance was in dad's name so dun have any no claim bonus. When I compare insurance cost online I don't find much difference between a small car and a big one. Even the cheapest car costs about 2000/= to insure for the first year (for a new driver with no NCB). I don't quite understand it - are theses quote real? Any suggestion for me? New or used? Big or Small? My top concern is cost of insurance.

Will the eclipse GSX make my insurance more than the GS?

Car insurance strange quotes, why?

Back in August, I got a quote on a car, it worked out as 900 for the year.(I'm only 17), and since then I've been getting regular quotes, and can't help but notice how much it's gone up. In only 2 months, it's gone up from 900 to 1900. I haven't changed a thing, and if you've used confused.com you'll know that you can just re-quote, which is what I've been doing. Does the Affordable Care Act force employers to PAY for or just PROVIDE insurance?

I've heard so much about how an employer with 50+ employees will be required to [provide] insurance to their full-time employees. Nowhere, I mean nowhere have I read clarification as to whether this actually means they have to PAY for their employee's insurance or simply PROVIDE it, which is a huge difference. My employer (a hospital) has always PROVIDED insurance but they don't PAY for it. They simply PROVIDE employees with the option to purchase their expensive insurance, which is like $250/month for part time employees. It would literally be 50% of my paycheck to purchase the insurance my employer PROVIDES. Can someone clarify the difference?
